Bring the timeless beauty of Greek mythology into your space with this handmade 60 cm amphora, decorated in white-figure style. Inspired by the elegant vessels of ancient Greece, this impressive ceramic vase combines traditional craftsmanship with two celebrated mythological subjects: Achilles and Penthesilea, and Perseus and Andromeda.
The decoration brings together the world of Achilles and the Amazon queen Penthesilea with the legendary story of Perseus and Andromeda. Each scene reflects the enduring appeal of Greek mythology and its place in classical art.
Handmade in Greece using traditional methods, each amphora is shaped on the potter’s wheel, kiln-fired, and carefully painted by hand. Small variations in the painting and finish give every piece its own individual character.
Its generous proportions make it a striking centrepiece for a living room, entrance hall, gallery, or collection of Greek-inspired art.
