Celebrate the elegance of Ancient Greece with this krater (mixing bowl). A krater served to mix wine with water at the symposium—both utilitarian and ceremonial. Executed in the White-ground Attic style, a hallmark of classical pottery (5th c. BCE). The principal scene portrays Achilles. On the reverse, the piece depicts It is shows God Dionysos sitting in the bed and drinking wine.

Handmade in Greece using wheel-throwing, kiln-firing, and meticulous hand-painting, each piece is unique while remaining faithful to historical techniques.

Dimensions: Height: 21.00 cm (8.27 in); Weight: 0.90 kg (1.98 lbs).
