The scene shows a visit to a grave: a large funerary stele with wreaths and vases at its base, a woman carrying more offerings, and a young man in a himation with a spear—likely the deceased. The restrained composition and dignity of the figures heighten the melancholy mood. The vase is attributed to the Bosanquet Painter 450B.C.
Technique:Handmade in Greece with traditional wheel-throwing, kiln-firing, and hand-painting techniques, this vessel reflects the timeless authenticity of ancient artistry.
