This ceramic amphora (two-handled storage/transport jar) is executed in the red‑figure tradition, echoing the aesthetics and storytelling of ancient Greek art.
Red-figure pottery, developed in Athens around 530 BCE, reversed black-figure technique: figures appeared red against a black background. It allowed greater detail, realism, and expression in Greek vase painting.
Technique:Handmade in Greece with traditional wheel-throwing, kiln-firing, and hand-painting techniques, this vessel reflects the timeless authenticity of ancient artistry.
Reverse side: Zephyrus.In ancient Greek lelegion and myth, winds were wind gods who were each ascribed a cardinal direction c from which their respective winds came , and were each associated with various seasons and weather conditions.
