This amphora is an exact museum replica of a red-figure masterpiece from the Classical period. In the first side it's depicted a warrior leaving home: Scythian archer, naked boy bringing the liver of a sacrificial animal, hoplite examines some other part of the entrails (extispicy), dog, woman (mother or wife of the warrior setting out).
In the second side we can see two naked bearded men with kylix, pointed amphora, barbitos and skyphos and a naked hetaira with auloi (double flute) .
