Handcrafted in Greece, this Ceramic plate is depicting Hercules and Cerberus.The most dangerous labor of all was the twelfth and final one. Eurystheus ordered Hercules to go to the Underworld and kidnap the beast called Cerberus. Eurystheus must have been sure Hercules would never succeed at this impossible task!
Executed in the red-figure technique (late 6th–5th c. BCE), where figures remain the natural red of the clay and details are painted in, allowing greater dynamism and realism.
Each piece is finished by hand, so minor variations make your item truly one-of-a-kind. Made in Greece by skilled artisans who preserve time-honored methods.
