Bring museum-quality storytelling to your space with this handcrafted Ancient Greek Oinochoe (wine jug) in classic red-figure style. One side portrays King Aegeus consulting the Pythia at Delphi—an iconic scene tied to the founding myths of Athens. On the reverse, the Olympian duo Apollo and Hermes appear: Apollo, god of music, prophecy and archery; Hermes, messenger of the gods and patron of trade and travel. The painting is executed with crisp linework and warm, earthy tones that echo 5th–6th c. BC Attic pottery.
Shaped with a graceful trefoil spout and generous handle, this oinochoe is wheel-thrown, hand-painted and kiln-fired in Greece. Subtle aging effects add depth without compromising durability, making it a striking accent for bookcases, consoles or curated shelves.
Dimensions: Height 36 cm (14 in). Weight: 1.6 kg (3.54 lb).
Packaging & Delivery: Secure, protective packing. Dispatch from Greece in 1–3 business days; typical delivery with DHL Express is 2–7 business days worldwide (1–6 within Europe). Tracking provided.
