Red-figure pottery, developed in Athens around 530 BCE, reversed black-figure technique: figures appeared red against a black background. It allowed greater detail, realism, and expression in Greek vase painting.
Technique:Handmade in Greece with traditional wheel-throwing, kiln-firing, and hand-painting techniques, this vessel reflects the timeless authenticity of ancient artistry.
First side: It depicts Artemis, goddess of the hunt, wilderness, and moon in Greek mythology, symbolizes independence, purity, and strength. Often depicted with a bow and accompanied by animals, she protects nature and women.
Reverse side: It depicts Oedipus with Sphinx.
