This collectible, artisan‑made work brings to life Discus throw from Ancient Greek Olympic games.The ancient Olympic Games were a sporting event held every four years at the sacred site of Olympia, in the western Peloponnese, in honour of Zeus, the supreme god of Greek religion. This ceramic oinochoe (wine jug) is executed in the multicolored (sea‑worn effect) tradition, echoing the aesthetics and storytelling of ancient Greek art. Its softly weathered, multicolored surface evokes the look of an artifact preserved undersea for centuries.
Technique: Handmade in Greece with traditional wheel-throwing, kiln-firing, and hand-painting techniques, this vessel reflects the timeless authenticity of ancient artistry.
