This hand-cast statue in premium gypsum plaster depicts The Winged Victory of Samothrace,The Greek Goddess Nike, Plaster sculpture Replicas 36cm.It is a votive monument originally found on the island of Samothrace, north of the Aegean Sea. It is a masterpiece of Greek sculpture from the Hellenistic era, dating from the beginning of the 2nd century BC. It is composed of a statue representing the goddess Niké (Victory), whose head and arms are missing, and its base in the shape of a ship's bow. The Nike has been on display in the Louvre since 1866.
Each piece is cast and hand-finished in Greece, yielding crisp contours and a refined, marble-like surface with a subtle museum patina.
Crafted with archival-quality plaster, the sculpture is reinforced and carefully smoothed, then detailed by hand. Minor variations in tone and texture attest to its artisanal character and make every cast unique.
