Museum-quality amphora depicting Heracles driving a bull to sacrifice. A rare “Bilingual” vase: one side in Black-Figure, the other in Red-Figure, showing the same scene. Traditional attributions: Lysippides Painter (black-figure) and Andokides Painter (red-figure). He wears a short chiton, lion skin, belt, with sword and quiver slung; two small wineskins hang from his arm. The bull is adorned with ribbons and a woollen fillet.
