It is a Greek Vase Oinochoe Jug based on the Red figure technique. Red-figure pottery is a style of ancient Greek pottery in which the background of the pottery is painted black while the figures and details are left in the natural red or orange color of the clay. It developed in Athens around 520 BC and remained in use until the late 3rd century BC.
         An oinochoe is a type of ancient Greek pottery used primarily for pouring wine. The term "oinochoe" comes from the Greek words "oinos" (wine) and "cheo" (to pour), reflecting its primary function.
   First side: It depicts Artemis, goddess of the hunt, wilderness, and moon in Greek mythology, symbolizes independence, purity, and strength. Often depicted with a bow and accompanied by animals, she protects nature and women.
  Second side:It depicts Oedipus with Sphinx . In this dramatic myth, Oedipus confronts the enigmatic Sphinx, whose riddle challenges his wit and courage. His triumph over the creature epitomizes human resilience and intellect against fate.
